OpenTC - www.opentc.net is an EU-sponsored project that brings this all 
together to use Linux as a basis for trusted computing.

For windows users, there is TPM software, usually made by the TPM 
manufacturer but even Lenovo provides its own for use with Thinkpad TPMs. 
You can use your TPM as MS-free (probably not conspiracy theory free though).
